4th of July!

So I am way behind on getting this posted. We went to Arizona for vacation over the 4th of July. It was so much fun. It was good to see our amazing families and good friends and our long lost baby Dozer- our dog! Who knew I would miss our dang dog so much! He's like my kid that I had to leave in Arizona!! The kids were so excited to see him to I think they forgot how big he was and were a little scared at first, but after warming up they all had a blast together! Landen played fetch with him a lot and I loved listening to the kids laughing and chasing after him!

We had several family cook outs and even got to camp for a couple days. The 4th was awesome. The parade was good. Landen got to ride in the semi with his Grandad Slade and he thought that was so cool and he still talks about Grandads truck and how fun it was! The fireworks were good. Kenzie wasn't crazy about them. The whole time she sat with her hands over her eyes, and if we tried to get her to look at them she would say no and bury her head in my shoulders! Maybe next year she will like them! We also got to go out for awhile that night and listen to my brothers band play- The Bends. If you were in RV for the 4th you herd them play in the parade! They are amazing and it was fun hearing them play! We love the 4th of July and we were so glad we were able to come home for it!! We love our country and are so grateful to live here! God Bless America!!

Originally we were only supposed to be in Az for a week, but Lanes Grandad Slade had a stroke while we were home and wasn't expected to last long and we debated wether to come home or not. We decided to stay, Lane felt he would regret coming home. And thankfully we stayed his Grandad passed and we were able to be there for the funeral. It was nice to be able to be home for awhile longer. It made us realize how much we have missed being there and being around our families! Coming back to California was so hard. And getting back into our routine here has been even harder knowing it will be a few months before we get to go home again! Hopefully soon we will be able to move closer to home!!
